Gas/Electric Water Heater help

I just tried to remove the electric water heating element from my Atwood combo heater, and broke a wire connector. The element is angled towards the floor, I never did get it removed.

Check out Sylvan Lake, beautiful scenery with granite boulders. If you're brave enough, you can jump into the lake. Also, Needles Highway is well worth the drive.
