Roof is not 3/4 inch
The roof is not 3/4 inch plywood as I thought the diagram shows. it is 3.4 MM which is 9/64. I took off vent and light covers inside to check out the roof and there is no way I'm screwing into that....

Is it important to align the front end after adjusting the Helwig springs and why. To be totally correct on the alignment I think it should be done with the RV loaded for a trip.

How to compress spring.
I can jack up one side to take the weight off but am afraid I will strip the U-Bolt. How can I compress the spring to tighten the U bolt? Can a rent such a tool?
