As I understand it, the black water could black flow into the gray water tank and this could result in odor problems.

Hard to close Gray Water valve.

Has anyone figured a way to close the gray water valve easily? I'm amazed that Jayco didn't use a valve positioned like the black water valve which is easy to get to and easy to close.:scratchhead:

We just bought a Jay Feather 17C. The former owner had mounted a bike rack which we have removed. We might use it at a later date.
The back bumper had been reinforces with a solid 2 x 4 or 2 x 6...
