We just took our first trip with the new TV down to Seaside, Oregon. I liked the Ridgeline but the F150 works SO much better pulling the trailer.

When I was driving trucks I'd always lock the trailer brakes and try moving forward to make sure the 5th wheel was locked. It's especially important if you're hauling doubles or triples.

If you pull into a weigh station when the cops aren't there you can use that scale. I found out my trailer that Jayco said is 4700 pounds is actually 5500.

Thank you. That's the only time we've ever used the trailer. I like this spot better than the pull throughs. I suppose they'd save a small amount of time, but I ended up unhooking the truck anyway.

I do use a white hose but I don't use a regulator. I've actually only used the trailer once though and I didn't turn the valve up all the way. I guess maybe I should get one. They are like $5.

I'm new to this and I didn't realize it was a bad idea to drink the water from. The campsite hose. The dealer just sort of mentioned it as a by the way as i was leaving.
