It's been commonly reported here. only recourse (unless it is still under warranty) is to have it reupholstered using quality leather/cloth/vinyl if you like the piece of furniture.

I'd say anything pertaining to the vent you work on would be void of the warrantee (I.E seal).

For anything else, they (Jayco) would have to prove that the vent work you did affected another...
