Ya I get that two different OD Tires are going to have different tow ratings but why would 17"rims have a higher rating then 18s if the tires have the same OD?unless they are? I'll have to check....

New to the forum. I'm in the process of buying my first TT(26bhs). I was looking in my owners manual(2006 f150) to find out my tow rating and noticed the tow rating was higher for 17" vs18". Not sure...
