sorry I meant pump still running three min later after faucets closed. Less spurting when we were camping but I think that is just because the tank is fuller.

I read to check the filter coming...

Ok I followed all those steps, water heater fills full, after fresh water tank filled, I turn pump on but it didn't shut off after three min. I ran the hot water, it spurt, ran for two min, still...

Ok so to fill the water tank using fresh water not city fill and get air out

1. hose goes in fresh water fill

2. flip open pressure relief valve on hot water heater

2. keep filling fresh...

Thanks for the info:

1. Yes, I had meant that I had read that city fill will fill the water heater. But I had also read that after it was done filling that, there was a valve that you could move...
