Valve leaking behind toilet

I have the valve behind the toilet leaking. Any ideas how to remove it? Looks like a couple tits hold it in place. There's also a screw. Has anyone else had issues with this?

Owners Manual says "2 capped wires in the area of the battery, to be connected to battery and connect solar charger".
I have found 2 capped wires (1 black, 1 red). These are connected to each other...
