I had a 2008 Montana and had an additional valve in the line between the tanks. This was in addition to the auto switch over. It was some saftey feature and needed to be replaced.

Removed the cracking and peeling decals on our 2008 Montana. Used heat gun to remove label then used Turtle Wax label and Sticker remover to rmove glue.

Is the coach 12v Switch on? On the 2014 Precept it is right inside the door. Without it on you will get what you are experiencing.

Being a snowbird with a Motorhome you dont want ice/snow on the roof flying off on the Toad windshield.
