I bought two of the replacements from eBay, see the pic for model numbers.

My Door Step has a fuse.

I have a 2013 Greyhawk 29KS that has a fuse hidden beneath the floor by the door step, in with other wiring for the steps, step light etc.. Perhaps that is your problem with the steps not working....

I appreciate the advise on the seam. I have a Armstrong Flooring S-500 "Seam Coating Kit" that is a 2 part solution that will hopefully seal the area.
