I put the newer HDs on and just got back from a 3000 km trip and they towed very well. We drove through some very strong winds with little or no sway. (our Jayfeather 242 is a low trailer however)....

Wheel Question
We have a 2011 Jay Feather Select 242 with the Aluminium wheels. It presently has GY Marathons 205/75/14 on it, which are load range C. I read you should be under your GVWR by 20% with your tires....

Shoe Cupboard
Our Jay Feather 242 has more storage space then many small apartments, but it lacked a place to put your shoes. My wife and I have rather substantial feet so our shoes tend to take up a lot of room...
