We replaced the 3 entry step with a 4 step and it's better, but still a couple of inches higher than what's required in a home.
I agree that the steps that fold up into the trailer (not under it)...

No Extra cans of fuel for me
Swapped the stock 26 gallon (Ford says it's 29) diesel tank on my 2015 F250 short bed for a 50 gallon Titan Tank. It fits in the stock location and uses the stock filler.
My truck gets 10~11 mpg...
