The 2017 29MV comes with the tri-fold sofa bed. Not positive the size, but would imagine it's the same as recent years 29MV's. Might try Jayco or dealer to see if you can purchase one from them?

Exact same issue in our '17 29MV. Thought it was just our unit, but sounds like that's the design. I'll ask the dealer about reinforcing it.
