We tow our 17rb fully loaded 3800 lbs with a Jeep Trailhawk rated for 4500 lbs. No problems towing. A bit slow at times in the Rockies. Averaging around 15 mpg on flatter roads.

Hummingbird - Towing MPG

Jeep Cherokee trailhawk 3.2 L V6 Hummy 17RB- average 15.75 mpg (imperial gallon). Rockies 13.2 mpg. Best on the prairies 17.5 mpg. Love our Hummingbird! Fully loaded 3825 lbs

I just don't trust the stupid, which seems to happen a lot. Most recently my jeep dealer lost the hubs off my alloys, which were in their storage. How does that happen?

I have a hummingbird rb and cover it including antenna. It is robust and I’m not worried about it breaking. You could cover it with a bucket or something to protect it.
