It is worth the “trouble” to check the bearing each time. Ez-lube things are horrible as they promote ignoring proper maintenance. You can’t see or check anything unless you take the hub off.

No... it isn't when turning on/off or connecting/disconnecting the shore power or vehicle; it just seems to be a problem with the radio. It does it while connected for shore power for long periods...
