They make a gooseneck stabilizer. I use one for my Andersen hitch. Works the same but with a ball on the end

Yup! I'm using the Andersen as well, love it. Bought the GN style tripod and couldn't be happier.

I bought you because the front cap had a bit of movement. Installed a tripod, rock steady. The movement bothered the wife so I bought it and it worked.

Love the "should have bought a diesel"...
