This is why I used 4'x'4 3/16 plate steel and welded on the back. I also tack welded the saddles in place so they do not slide around.

There is enough markup on a trailer to give you a lousy battery. I would DEMAND a battery. I have NEVER heard of an RV dealership selling a trailer without a battery, new or used!

Being gas seems to be getting to be the issue again this season, what kind mpg you getting?

I am getting 9.5 at 55 mph towing the 29a, 2400 rpm and overdrive off.

I had my cap replaced twice. Once under warrant and once insurance claim.
The first time they opened it up, there was moisture on the inside because the clearance lights were not sealed properly.
