The screw cover/ molding should be easy to find at any rv parts and repair facility. I got mine at our local shop. One thing I found is it easier to work with on a hot summer day.

To determine if it's the blower motor turn the a/c off then turn your fan to on.
That way your compressor is not running only your fan.
If noise is not heard then problem lies with the compressor....
