I replaced our strap with a piece of leather, looks better and stays in place. You can often get a shoe repair place to make it for you, use take in the old strap so they can make the right size.

I would have to agree with rsday75, I have the Reese and never a problem in a 6.75 ft box. Sliders can be nice but the ease of the Revolution can't be beat to me.
