Based on last year, new info won't be out until April, late April as I recall. You can try emailing Jayco in mid April, they were very helpful to me, sent me pdf files of the changes for 2013, before my dealer had the info, by the end of April dealers should have the info from Jayco to post.

That's probably true. I emailed Jayco a couple of weeks ago about the "something new" they are coming out with, and their response was that the NEW announcement would be mid-April. So we wait with bated breath . . . . . .

Don't ever wait for them to update their website. Sometimes they are months behind...

Happy trails,

I just got my 2013. I hope there are no changes that I going to want. My wife will kill me if I get rid of this trailer after 10 months like the last one.

Ordered a 2014 White Hawk yesterday. Went in to purchase a '13 that they sold that morning. Very significant changes to the White Hawk line-up. I have the entire list that the factory faxed over while were there (dealer hadn't even seen it yet), but it's not here with me at work. First of all the White Hawk line-up is now going to consist of the White Hawk Summit series and the White Hawk Caravan series. The Caravan series is going to consist of new, smaller floor plans.

On the inside the ceilings will be 4" taller with arched roofs, they added crown moldings, the TV is upgraded to 32" from 26", the curtains around the windows are gone and replaced with hard valances, the entertainment center is redesigned, the hide-a-bed is no longer an air mattress and is now some tri-fold sofa bed, the J-steel sofa has been redesigned, the light switches are now black, three color packages carry over (hazelnut, brownstone, and brick) and they eliminated amaretto, and I'm sure there are a couple others I'm forgetting.

On the outside, the sides are all polar white with no clay trim, the sides of the slide, when expanded, are now going to be clay, the exterior storage compartments have slam latch handles, the awnings have built in LED light strips on the edges, and, again, I'm sure I'm forgetting some things.

They have combined some option items into packages, removed some solo options etc...

Any chance you could scan and post that list of changes from the factory? We're thinking of replacing our Jayflight with a new White Hawk.

Thanks!

Me too! But we kept ours 13 months. Ours 28DSBH was ordered last month and is scheduled to come off the line April 30th - I'm curious if that means it's a 2013 or 2014? They wouldn't make different years simultaneously would they?

2104 White Hawk Changes

I have the document scanned as a .pdf, but I can't seem to upload and attach it due to the size limitations. I can e-mail the list if you want to pm me an e-mail address. If there is another way, please let me know.

Here is the best I could do with a copy and paste.

General Comments:
The 2013 White Hawk Ultra Lite series has been replaced by the White Hawk Summit Edition. We have created a new series, White Hawk Caravan Edition, that will be comprised of smaller, less expensive floorplans.

Decor:
  • Carryover decors: Hazelnut, Brownstone, Brick Deleted decor: Amaretto
  • New decorative interior wall panel
  • New bedspread styling
  • Valance legs replace drapes
  • New styling on J-Steel sofa

Exterior Changes/Enhancements:
  • Upgraded graphics
  • Change exterior sidewall color to Polar White
  • Change slideroom end-wall color to Clay (same as front and rear walls)
  • Aluminum rims from optional to standard feature
  • Slam latch baggage doors on front pass throughs

Interior Changes/Enhancements:
  • New Cloud Ten™ EcoFoam Pillowtop mattress
  • Arched interior roof rafters (dealership owner was on the phone with the rep., at the factory, and he said this amounted to a 4" difference in ceiling height)
  • Changed entertainment center styling
  • Crown moldings and wood grain batten strips
  • Black wall switches from white/almond

2014 Option Changes:
  • Optional 26" TV moves to standard 32" TV (in CVP)
  • New Power Package option:
  • o Power awning with LED light and power tongue jack
  • Power awning stand-alone option deleted
  • Power tongue jack stand-alone option deleted
  • Optional hide-a-beds will be new "Tri-Fold" design, with Denver Mattress sleep surface...no longer using air mattresses.

Waiting to see if Jayco will be making a 2014 three(3) slide Eagle with the bed slide out like their 2012 330RLTS had. The only trailer we can find that has the 3 slides with the 50 Amp & 2nd Air options is a Cruiser Enterra 314RES. I want a Jayco but if not then Enterra just may be it.
Jayco here's the Enterra photos: http://www.happydazerv.com/new_galleria.asp?pov=2578902
Please make me one..... :hihi:

Bill, I may have mentioned this to you before but have you looked at the Open Range Journeyor JT337 RLS? It looks pretty close to the Eagle 330 RLTS floorplan with 50 amp as well. In fact, all 3 Open Range travel trailer lines are 50 amp. Just a thought, Terry

Just told the Eagle for 2014 changes a few things, nothing major. Gone is the color Cocoa, LED lights on awning std., ivory gloss gel option, std. alloy wheels. That's all I know for now.

I know one thing, on the Crossroads and Forest River forums owners are saying the light strips have LEDs that burn out easily.
