DVD hook up
Does anyone know how to hook up the DVD player in a x23b? What channel does the tv need to be on?

The TV is not on a channel, the TV needs to be on the AV input.

When we got our new x23b we got a RCA plug jumper to run from the radio to the tv. I pulled the radio out enough to attach the wires (audio L and R and video) then attached them to the tv.
I had plugged them in to the side connection on the tv, so I had to go to source button on my tv remote to tell it to go to the side inputs. I did this pretty much by trail and error, till I got it right. Once I had it it seemed simple. We like the way the sound comes out of the trailer speakers.

Google says
These YELLOW - RED - WHITE RCA PLUG connections are on the side of my VIZIO HDTV for easy access. I have one of these cheap $30 WALMART DVD players at both Living Room and Bed Room HDTV locations.
Then use the TV REMOTE to select A/V to watch your DVDs...

Not all TV remotes have an A/V button on them. I have a Vizio also and it does. Every brand is different. But my question, or rather suggestion to Meadows11 is find out what kind of TV you have and search online for a manual. It will tell you how to get an axillary device to display a picture. We're just guessing otherwise.
Roy, the red/white RCA audio jacks on the Jensen DVD players that come with newer units are not outputs but inputs. So your diagram doesn't apply. I know, that doesn't make sense because that isn't "normal", but it does if you play the DVD and it plays through the ceiling speakers. This actually annoyed me because I can't use my TV's headphone jack with just the Jensen DVD player. I put in a line to RCA convertor on the back of the Jensen and rerouted the "B" speaker leads through it and back to the TV so I can take advantage of the head phone jack.

Our TT also has an "amplifier" which has to be turned off for DVD operation. It's push on/push off button on the bottom of the cabinet over the tele and has a green LED to show its status.

Isn't that the signal booster for the antenna?

Look at your TV remote closely and you'll find a button that says "input" or "mode" in some cases. Press the "input" button and the following choices should pop up. TV, AV1, AV2 and HDMI. Scroll down to AV1 and hit enter, plug in the red, yellow, and white jacks to the corresponding colors on your TV and you should be good to go. I'm assuming he doesn't have the built in Jensen DVD player/radio and he's trying to hook up a remote DVD player. If that's the case, I believe Roys diagram is correct.

We have to turn ours off, I thought it was to play a DVD but might be to use a cable source, don't remember clearly which it is. We don't watch too much tele when camping.

That's great until the DVD player stops working. This is what happened to us with our old TV/DVD combo. In fact, everyone I know with combo sets the DVD player dies after a few years. I believe to keep the price point reasonable they use cheap DVD players.
