On my old camper, I had my tv mounted to a swivel arm and it was mounted next to the dinette window. I could open the sliding window and swing the TV outside and watch my games without retiring anything. I've got a extra HD Direct TV dish and receiver from home that I use. On my new Jayco 27DSRL, I don't have any windows positioned where I can do this.
What Ive found that will let me watch my DirecTV outside is a Rocketfish™ - Whole Home HD Extender - Black, Model: RF-HPL302. This consists of a transmitter that you plug the Satellite into, and it has a pass-through port to connect to the TV there. There is a receiver box that you connect to the other TV. This system broadcasts the HD signal over the electric wiring. I haven't done this in the camper yet, but it works great in my house! You have to watch the same program on both TV's, but I dont't have a problem with that.
I plan to get a TV mount with two quick release base plates that will allow me to use the TV outside, and move into the Bedroom. No extra wiring involved to watch DirecTV in multiple locations in my camper!
