Loose screws in ceiling

Howdy,

The AC ceiling vent grills and the chill grill main vent/cover are all attached to the thin ceiling wood (luan or something similar) w/ those white wood screws that typically w/ the first removal do not go back in tight. What are you using in the now "stripped" holes in this this wood to keep those screws in there tight? Thanks.

I just went back with a #10 pan head screw wherever one stripped. Pretty much just the AC interior since I take it all apart twice a year. If those strip, I may try one of those sheetrock anchors or something similar.
