Front cap on premier series fading

This is the top of our front cap on 2014 Jayco Premier 361RLQS. Just wondering if anybody else is having this problem with fading on the darker front caps. My dealership is taking care of problem...but wanted to make you aware so you can check yours.

This is not unique to the Premier or Jayco. Several threads have been brought up lately in regards to this. Many people seem to be getting them redone in a lighter color. Keep us posted on the repair and how it works out for you!

Ours is fading as well.

This happened very quickly on ours. It happened over a very short time frame. We went camping in late April and the cap was fine when I washed it when we got back. I washed it again before we left for another trip in late June and there was a large area of faded finish.

Does anyone know if the cap is fiberglass gelcoat or paint?

I agree its not just on Jayco's. I've seen it on more than a few other trailers with the dark cap. My Eagle HT still looks nice on the cap, but im sure I'll be dealing with fading before the warranty is up. I plan to put mine back in a lighter color like the sides.
