While it would be fun to go we would rather save the money for fuel when we go to the Oregon coast and later return to Az.

Aww... C'mon folks! Goshen can be a lot of fun, plus there's a lot of Amish folk there! You may even get to meet the dude that built your trailer!!!

Thumbs up Our first Rally!

So...We totally jumped in with both feet and upgraded from a tent to the Greyhawk! Glad we did, too!

We decided that the rally would be a great first BIG roadtrip! Looking forward to it. I read on this thread that they were aiming for 100 units...How close are we? Anyone know? Just curious...

Has anyone toured the manufacturer in Middlebury(?), IN? Any tips to share about going to the rallies for these two new kids on the block?

See you in a couple months!

Last count was just over 80. The factory tour has always been interesting, not sure if they will be doing motorized as well as towables. As to the Rally itself the best advice I have is "get involved" don't be afraid to jump in.

Well I guess our plans have changed and we are not going to go the Jayco International Rally after all, we did a deal today to trade our Jayco Pinnacle for SOB.

We will pick new 5er up on Wednesday of this week.

Will monitor this forum occasionally but we will not have a Jayco RV anymore.

Robert

What did you get? We were looking forward to meeting you at Goshen. I think you can still go as an SOB.

All the best with the new 5ver Rob and congrats.

We won't be attending the Rally now either but not for the same reason you have. Oldest daughter and husband are having a baby (granddaughter) and we'll be hanging around WI for that event then we'll be heading back West to the Oregon coast.

Is there a link somewhere that I can get more info? We will be traveling thru that area ( or at least thru IN ) and would be interested in attending. Thanks

We are toward Goshen, IN, tomorrow morning for the rally. Plans are to arrive at the rally site mid afternoon on Saturday. Two tours have been added to the rally program- Jayco and Mor/Ryde. Should be interesting.

Sure wish we could be there but our Redwood 5th Wheel would stand out amongst the all those wonderful Jayco's RVs.

Our 2011 Jayco Pinnacle trade in sold in less than 30 days at the dealer in Tampa, somebody got a fine 5th Wheel.

Sure hope we can get to the Elkhart IN area one day.
