Cleaning question

My dinette cushions could use a good cleaning. They have vinyl on the back. How are you washing your cushions?

For touch-up, I use a small steam cleaner ith an upholstery tool. The fall cleaning is done with a larger steam cleaner like a Rug Doctor and upholstery tool.

Would they happen to be safe to put in a side loader washer? Mine have zippers so the foam is easily removable. Just worried about the vinyl.

I think it's long past touch up. I purchased this rv used, I don't think it has ever had a good wall to wall cleaning.

We've put our bunk mattress covers in our washing machine at home with good success. Just unzipped and removed the foam and threw them in. Nice and clean!

Does your mattress covers have vinyl on the back? This is my concern.

I have washed mine in the top load washer and and hung to dry, they were only used one season but we had a mouse and I wanted to be sure everything got cleaned. They came out great. There is vinyl one one side.

Well, I took the gamble. I removed the covers from the cushions, and removed the curtains, tossed 'em in the washer. After two washes I hung them in the wind to dry..

They turned out great.. Clean and smell great!
