The model #'s on the White Hawk line seem to refer to the interior length of the living area and floorplan. For example, our 27DSRL the front to back interior length is about 27' and the "DSRL" means either deep or dining slide/rear living (the booth dinette or freestanding table/chairs are in the slide). The overall exterior length bumper to tongue is 30' 11". Our HitchHiker ll fifth wheel model was a 29.5 LKTG, which had an interior length of 29' 6" and the floorplan was an "L" kitchen and triple glide room. So, I suspect the model nomenclature has some meaning among the manufacturers.

I have not yet figured out the Z for our 25Z. The box is 25' though. It was replaced by the 242 which is the same length and is very similar.

It looks teamfoxy like that model is no longer available but the x17z is. Maybe someone with the x17z might have an idea.

"The Model number is not the length it is just a number that Jayco comes up with to differentiate all of our many models we have here at Jayco."

Now we know - the model number, such as 29 RLTS, actually means nothing related to actual unit length. Although the prefix number means nothing, a previous query to Jayco revealed that the letters actually DO relate to the model - in this case, RLTS means Rear Living Three Slides.

Hope this satisfies everyone's curiosity.
Well according to jayco Z means something. Please don't keep us in suspense.

So the box is probably 28' long. It would nice if they gave us the box dimensions in there brochure. They give us the height and width but not length of box.

It says certificate of origin for a vehicle on it, it is a scan of the original from Jayco

So it looks the number sometimes does and sometimes doesn't refer to the box length.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I stumbled across a few threads like this and thanks to them I can't sleep at night. LOL

Why?

Because now I have this unstoppable need to know what the heck our trailer model number means.

It's a 2010 Eagle 351RLSA and I got the "RL" part figured out but the "SA" is driving me bananas!

Help....

The "S" often refers to slide. The A, well we`ll have to think on that one.

We have a 338RLTS, that according to the stats is 39'. My DW thinks the RL stands for real long and the TS means she is to short to drive it.
