Home for the summer.
Sallie and I are home for the summer. We left our Jayco in Az and bought a used smaller trailer to use for summertime trips and on our river lot. Now if it will just stop raining.

The hills around town are white and there is a lot of snow from the 3000 ft level and up.
Our 24ft summer trailer is nearly ready to go. We did a complete cleaning, had to re plumb the kitchen sink, put a coat of poly on the cabinets, installed a new TV, put in a mattress topper, and bought a new hitch since we left ours in Az. I need to install the new battery, paint the hitch and bumper and buy some new tires and we will be ready to roll. I really like this trailer as it has an aluminum super structure and aluminum siding so it's real light.

Ernie, we are still waiting for that first 'shake down trip'. Nothing but rain in our near future.

Well it's still raining just about every other day. The trailer is all set to go and I don't think we can go far enough to get to dry weather in our area.

Seann, you are correct. Parcany says it is getting warm in Az and he is getting ready to head for cooler places. We will be heading for our river lot next week because the weather lady is predicting upper 70's. We will know in a couple of days.

Seann, I think you hit the nail on the head. Weather forecasters and politicians. LOL

I have used my TT for 3 Nights thus far and the best night it only went down to 4C about 40F. Last night it was 0C 32F and the furnace ran a lot! Still it is great to be able to finally use my TT....even cooked my first steak yesterday!
Wishing every one a great summer camping season!

Sask934, having the furnace run in a TT beats trying to keep a tent warm. Have a nice summer.
