finding more remote place to camp?

ok so i live in ontario canada and i would like to take the wife and kid to some more remote places, now the question i have is how do you guys find these places and not tresspass on private property

do alot of you guys use government (crown) land or what

im just lost on this

I boondock 99.975% of the time.. Stay off of private land unless you have the owners permission. Becareful even in public land here in Canada the govt is not as open to boondockers as they are in the western USA. Always leave no trace when you pull out...

What Sean said about leave no trace is important. A lot of National Forest camp sites around here have been closed because of garbage being left by LOTS of people.

Try some of the less popular Provincial Parks. Once you get north of Huntsville and off the 400 corridor, they become less crowded with a few more options for seclusion.

Only use existing fire rings. Always leave the camp cleaner than when you arrived.
