Price

I'm not sure if it's ok to talk pricing in this forum. But, I was just quoted $61,100 sale price for a 2015 29mv Greyhawk. I was also offered $15,000 for my Jayco bunk 29ft bunkhouse as trade in. I paid $19,000 for it 18 months ago. How does this deal sound to you?
Thanks in advance, Terry

We camped next to a 29MV and they told us the main reason they chose this one out of the choice of the 3 floor plans offered was that the stove was not right next to the seating area. They tried to push the other floor plan off on them with a better deal but later they admitted it was the stove/sofa that made it a slower seller. You did good.

That is a great price if you paid cash. If you financed through the dealer, then they make the profit. Use it in good health!

Just dont let them ruin the deal with excessive dealer add ons like make ready, paint protection, interior fabric protection, and outragious financing. Will they purchase your rig if you dont finance through them?

I went to the purchase with financing from my credit union, and a handshake for drive out price including tax, title, license and full fuel tanks (LP/Gas). They kept up wanting to finance me there, then when I lloked at the details, they tried adding $1500 for make-ready and inspection. After threatning to walk away, he scrubbed the $1500 additional off back down to our hand shake price.

Some of these sales places are filled with the worlds slime balls.

Sounds like a good deal.

If you are a Costco or Sam's Club member, also check the prices their brokers can get IF you know what you are wanting. For us, it was a 14% additional discount beyond quoted 'best price'. This works for cars, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles (RVs, boats, etc.) ... and it never hurts to pursue all options!
