octane hitch size.

Seems a stupid question I'm sure. But does anyone know the hitch ball size on the octane 273 I'm getting? I want to get the WDH and order the ball with it but I dont know if its 2" or 2 5/16" My guess is the latter. Thanks

Rick, my 222 is 2 5/16. Also measure from the hitch back along the a-frame and see where the battery box frame is... mine was 30" back so I couldn't use the clamp on hangers that came with the WDH and had to order bolt on chain hangers instead.

Thanks, that confirms it. I'm going to get this one. I think its a bolt on type. I just hope its not to heavy. Next lighter is 800/8000. I think that would be to light. I kind of wish they had a 1000/10,000 http://www.etrailer.com/Weight-Distr...e/RP66084.html

At what ball height are you pulling your 273? I am picking mine up next week.

On my 198RD - GVWR 5900 I use a Pro series 1200/12,000 lbs. with single sway control. If it transfers to much weight to the front I go a link (or 2) up.
A WDH takes a bit to tune close to perfect. I rather have a WDH a bit over than under capacity. My next unit is going to be a bit larger but I will stay with the TT series.
