Tawoo. You are so right Don't depend on Jayco, The 2year warranty sounds good but jumping through all the hoops is ridiculous. Don't waste your time with customer service Agt. Mr. Jordan. AKA Mr. Personality!

Remember Swift is a entry level compare to Jay Flight and Eagle. I agree, we don't have to run into problems like that. However things can be done by DIY if you are handy with tools and knowing what to do.

I have 2001 Jayco for 12 years and still have them, ZERO problem. I have 2014 Jayco travel trailer and still ZERO problem. The only problem I have is the mistake by me. I have and do fix it on my own as long it does not mess up my warranty. Good luck!

My charge/converter failed on my 6 months old Pinnacle and damaged the two batteries in the process. The dealer replaced the converter and the batteries with no hassle. He took care of all the paperwork and completed the repairs by the date promised. A good dealer makes all the difference in the world.

I had a 26 foot Jayco for about 10 years. I never had a single problem with it so I purchases a 2014 Jayco Swift last Fall. Since then my grey water holding tank leaks, my pump won't stop cycling (no leaks), my gas LP gauge always shows green even with both tanks empty and I have never been able to get one TV channel even though I'm not in a remote area.
I know all these things can be fixed but now I have to tow my camper 150 miles to the dealer for repairs.
Pretty disappointed in Jayco now.
Tawoo, did you ever get your TV problem fixed? It can be a variety of things but usually pretty simple. We just set up in a campground and I could not get my satellite signal to my TV. Antenna worked great although not many channels. Finally tracked it down to an end connector on the coax was pulling out. Just start with the basics and check the ends of all connectors. Can you run a coax straight to your TV and get a signal. Then you know at least the TV is working and go back from there. If would be great if you had the equipment to check the coax for continuity but it is just a little time consuming. Good luck and keep us informed.

You got that right!!!! I have bought a unit in another state because of circumstance. I had some repairs needed. What a hassle!! The unit I have now was bought locally from a reputable dealer. We have had more then a couple issues with our current unit and between the dealer and Jayco it has been no problems at all getting repairs made in a timely fashion. Never again will I purchase a unit other then from a local dealer that I Feel that I can trust.
