I was able to access all 10 of the approved documents in the Manuals, but when I selected the Dexter Axle Manual (http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/do...p?do=file&id=2) and clicked the "Download"), I received a white screen that only displayed "File not found" (http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/do...57bce81cfbc521). There was no other information that appeared on the screen.

When I backed out of the error message and tried to download the manual again, I received the following error message from Vbulletin:

"Slow Down! You are trying to download files too quickly. You must wait 38 seconds before you may download another file." (http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/do...57bce81cfbc521)

After waiting, I tried downloading the manual again and encountered the same scenario of events.

Then I tried downloading the 2011 Eagle Super Lite manual with the same results

I'll notify the Tech Admin of the problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Stay tuned for updates.

Let me get in touch w/Jake. At first I thought it was because there wasn't a file attached to the post, but I've tried several other listed manuals to download & get the same error message on all of them. It can't be a coincidence everything I tried wasn't attached.

Sit tight & we'll find out what's happened.

It's probably the old faulty magneto in the main solstus area again. Happens all the time; especially when the stone magnet is out of alignment with the cat's whisker.

Also, walk me through step by step how you're getting to them. I'll see if I can figure out what's wrong.
Snake, I clicked on Manuals, then on Dexter axle... in the Most Popular section upper left side of page, then got ERROR: File not found.
Thank you

Yup - same experience here - somethings broken there... We'll try to sort it out.

Good Morning Everyone!

It appears the stone magnet has been realigned with the cat's whisker and the faulty magneto's been replaced. As of this morning, the manual downloads are working again. I was able to download two manuals successfully, so give it a try and post any issues you encounter to this thread.

...And, yes, there really is such a thing as a cat's whisker. They were used in crystal receivers back in the early days of radio. I think the one I had is still hiding somewhere around the house.

No, but as a young teen I had one of Heathkit's electronic experimenter sets. In the 70's I built Heathkit's electronic programmable doorbell and their GR 2000 color television. I purchased the television kit the day after Christmas in 1976. Seems to me it was about $650.00- a lot of money back then considering you could buy any name brand TV already assembled for about $500.00. My goal was to have it assembled and running in time for the Super Bowl. I succeeded.

Hello- I uploaded a new file into the Systems sub-folder under Manuals on Dec. 16; when I search for it, is shows up as being there but is waiting on Moderation. Maybe the file has gone astray, or everybody is out Christmas shopping? The file is atwood_landing_legs.pdf (352.8 KB).

Oops! Sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, when someone adds a document to the Manuals, there currently is no automatic notification to have a moderator approve it. The only way we know is to go into the Manuals and check, or the submitter makes a posting inquiring about it as you did.

I approved your document so it should be viewable now.

Thanks, FPM III.

By the way, did you know that most people who are "the third" as in FPM "the third" are extremely rich and lead lives of refinement and ease?

Extremely rich? Surely, you jest, but I appreciate your comment. My oldest son is the fourth. In fact, today's his birthday. What's the prediction for him?
