The majority of our camping is long haul so we are aware of the holidays that fall during that time and make sure we have reservations. We do take advantage of the 2 for one KOA offers on May weekends and use them for shake down cruises to start the season.

You look like a STRIGHT SHOOTER who NEVER MISSES an opportunity for a good rest.
Have fun and keep your POWDER dry.

We do the Memorial Day and July 4 almost every year. We don't do Labor Day because there is a Festival Of The Arts at the end of September that we attend instead.

We have different holidays in Canada, but try to camp on most of them
Family day in Feb
Easter in March
Victoria Day in May( kicks of camping season up here)
Try to go for Father's Day with my boys
Canada day in July
BC day in August
Labor Day in September
And Thanksgiving in October.

Luckily I usually have about 10-12 weeks off work each year to add to these long weekends.

We haven't camped for Christmas, yet... It is in the plans though. Have done Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Thanksgiving...

We went to Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach last year for Thanksgiving and loved it. Already booked for 2016.

Out with my brother and his wife, getting ready to go out in the float tube. After 20 yrs.
