6V Solar Battery Charger Recommendation?

Can someone point me in a good direction for a small solar battery charger/maintainer? I just installed two 6V batteries and would like to add one of those small solar panels to the top of the batteries. I really only need it to maintain the charge while it is at the storage lot between uses. I have 2 6V batteries from Costco - I can't remember what size they are, but if I remember correctly they are GC2 or something like that.

Any automotive store; Costco etc. sell small panels just for maintaining batteries. Around boat lifts they use them all the time. Hope you have a safe storage as batteries are lost easily to criminals. Storing at home is safer.

One suggestion, make sure what ever SOLAR kit you buy has a SOLAR charge controller with it that mounts between the SOLAR panel and the battery. Without a SOLAR charge controller, the SOLAR panel can overcharge your battery (Once a full charge has been reached) and can even discharge it at night.

Just my thoughts

Harbor Freight often carries a solar kit that would work well for you.. just remember the panels have to be standing vertical and facing S to be of any use to you in the winter... (vertical to keep the low sun on them and to help keep the snow off of them..)

Your prolly running your six volts to run your RV so they are hooked positive to negative between the batteries...making 12 volts.... You need a 12 volt charger unless...your going to disconnect every time to charge.
