I can attest to the fact that price has little to do with quality.. We purchased a brand-new 2010 Super C from a supposed "custom" manufacturer (now owned by FOREST River), it had a MSRP of 350k and the workmanship was absolutely atrocious. Had several significant issues with the M2 chassis too. It was bad enough to just about do me in with RV'ing.
We have a Seneca TS on order. I'm really hoping to have much better luck with the Seneca, but anticipate some issues. Like most people, I can live with a few minor issues, it's the significant issues that we all hope to avoid.
I agree that QC is very lacking in the RV industry. Too often it seems the new owner has the job of final inspector...
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll get lucky!
