Unhappy 09 Designer Slide Creep

I have never had a problem until now with my living room slide coming out about 3 inches at the bottom while traveling. It goes back in just fine and slide works ok. , I guess ill make some braces until I figure this out.
any ideas, gotta go south soon.

Depending on which brand slide mechanism it is the brake on the motor may have moved a little and needs to be repositioned.

My slide motor is the type you use a 9vbattery to disengage the brake, anyone know if adjustment can be made to the brake or does the entire brake motor combo have to be replaced.
thanks for your help.

I had the same problem with my 2008 Designer. Turned out to be the slide brake that attaches to the end of the slide motor. Couldn't find just the brake, so ended up having to replace the whole assembly at a cost of something north of $300. Don't recall the exact figure...

For 300 bucks, I could live with travel bars a long time.
