WDH Trunion Spring Bracket dilema

I received my WDH today, and went to put it on the trailer (x17z) only to find that the bracket for the LP Gas is right where the trunion spring bracket needs to go. Moving the trunion spring bracket to the available space means it can't be put into the locked position because of the Gas tanks.

I think the solution is either raise the LP brackets to give clearance, or drill the LP bracket THROUGH the trunion spring bracket (so one sits on top of the other).

Anyone else run into this?

I have the E-2 system that has a different clamp that goes on the frame.
I had to cut a small section of the gas bottle plate out to mount one side.

Best regards,
Doug

I have seen this interference condition before, and in most cases raising (if possible) the LP tank frame seems to address the problem.

As you are aware, with standard WDH's one wants the snap-up bracket chain to hang perpendicular to the ground when the TV & HTT are in a straight line, this will insure that the spring bars have maximum freedom of movement (fore/aft) during TV turns.
