lift cable and lift arm problems new to jayco pop up also

so everyone my first pop up camper 19931993 Jayco Eagle 8SD bought it from a friend who just wants it out of his garage 400 bucks so what happened somehow cables broke we believe by po over stretching them they broke when extended and top came down at a angle which also bent one of the corner posts that the top slides on so my question is I found the corner post on popupparts.com it says its a four piece so is the part one whole piece and also the little plastic pieces that sit on top of the springs in there what are these called as I think they are gone all the corners managed to slip out of the square tubing except the one that broke

on the end wall where the wall meets the floor there is a cover about 4'' wide and 4'' tall remove this cover and see if you have an eye bolt opened up. this is where the 4 cables connect to the wench. mine opened an eye bolt and the cable wasn't hurt.
