New 2014 Jayco 33rlds owner with factory experience on the second day

I just bought my first Jayco. I live in southern Idaho. We started looking about 6 weeks ago saw the 33rlds and fell I love. I showed the wife she loved it. But we have 3 kid a 17,15,and 6 so I showed them the bunk models thinking they would want there own beds . But the teens wanted the open floor plan needless to say the 6 year old lost out and was not happy. my lodes said I want to have room when I get married and have a child that there will be some where for the baby to play. Now to be far that is my logical child the other one just like the flat screen. It was a 14 hold over and got a good deal. But spending that 6 weeks reading and a lot of time on here is what made me pull the trigger. And looking at some of the other trailers in my price range. So I bit the bullet and Pulled it home 2 weeks ago got it set up and the next morning there was a small leak coming in on both big slides well really like 2 drops but water still. Called my dealer and the sent it strait to the twin falls factory the gentleman over special projects at jayco's factory by the name of Leif he got me in last week on Friday and Monday called me and told me he had figured out the issue. At the main factory back east they put up the trim that you see from the inside without making the top of the slide square so it was sagging in the middle just a little on both sides. Leif contacted me wanted me to come in and look at it and then he had us go over everything and fixed a few little thinks all I can say with customer service like this I can't imagine why anybody would buy any other brand. They could have strung me out and instead got it fixed before there was any damage. Plus on top of all that traded in my 2011 f150 for this 2012 f250 xlt only had 34000 miles got it for $34k before trade couldn't pass it up. I was worried about the weight of the trailer.Pulling it home today mpg ave 13.5 forgot it was back there pulls so nice. Haven't had a diesel for almost 5 years forgot how much I missed that power.

Welcome to the site, I also could not resist that floor plan. I have a Ford F150 and will not pull my trailer with my truck. When I retire in a 5 years I will then decide to either change the truck or the trailer and start off my retirement years by heading south in the winters.

Enjoy that trailer....
