Snow

Hope everyone is doing OK. Have been in 3 footers a few times. Can be tough.
Good luck all.

Raining now here, with 1-3 inches of snow forecast overnight. But windy too.

I'm a little disappointed. They were predicting 4-8" of snow today in the DC area. It was way too warm most of the day and it melted as soon as it hit the ground. If its going to be cold and gray, I'd rather have snow. In 2010 we got hit with back to back 2 foot snow storms... it was GREAT!!!

Agreed. It sounds like it's going to get nasty later tonight.

I can't believe it, 59 deg. And sunny in Bellingham today and yesterday. That east coast weather is not for me.

Thanks all! Hard to tell how much snow (besides a lot) we have so far because it's also extremely windy. Just waiting for it to get light outside before I head out for my first of what will probably be many shoveling sessions.

Yes Seann, for those who see a little too much of it for a little too long I understand.

However I still get an odd thrill when I get a chance to 4X4 some fresh tracks at dawn!

Most of our snow stays on the nearby mountains which allows each to choose.

We did great in NJ, we were suppose to get blasted. I live in west jersey and we got 1" when 18-24 was predicted . I work by Staten Island where we were predicted 36" and got 6-8. We really lucked out but Long Island NY and north got blasted
