Casa Grande Ruins, Near Phoenix

Before the week in Yuma, I stayed a couple of weeks in the San Tan Mountains, southeast of Phoenix. I took a drive to wash clothes one day, and found this Federal Historical Site. Glad I got the Annual Federal Parks Pass!

The civilization the native Americans had going was impressive. They dug miles of canals to bring water to their sites.

And that Park Rangerette is a fine looking woman! Bet she has more stories to tell besides all that stuff about the Indian ruins!
