Shabby Chic RV makeover.. Over the top!

As I have been developing a decorating sceme for our new trailer I have come across some amazing RV makeovers. I thought I would share a couple of links here so that you can see how far some people will go..
My husband is really glad I am keeping it simple after seeing this..

Thanks Lady W. I got a kick out of that btw I have my denim toppers made to replace the frilly ones. They look good so far, but putting them up will be the real test. Will be picking up Tt this coming Friday so should be able to post that picture I promised

On a less grandiose scale, we removed the sofa and replaced it with a couple of old La-Z-Boy chairs.

Should be much more comfortable.

I moved the dining table to the corner to add more room.

That's sounds nice. I am actually doing a bit of a cottage theme for my trailer.. (just not like the pictures here.. That white fabric would not last ten minutes with my kids and dogs).
I have a bunch of beach and cottage themed items that I was keeping for if we would ever get a cottage.. So I am hoping to incorperate some into the new trailer.
I spent quite a bit of time this weekend researching and then finally choosing a towel holder for the tiny bathroom as I have no where to store towls in there.. So I am hoping this one works and it will all come together really well. I contacted jayco and they sent me a framing schematic diagram for our trailer, so thatI can figure out where to putty screws and nails.

Here is a link for a site that carries a cool towel storage holder that I am hoping will hold onto the towels while we are on the move..

Sears also has this towel holder that will hold 8 full sized bath towels and fit in behind most RV toilets..

Dr fife.. I bet those chairs will be the place to sit.. everyone wanting to be in them.. I am thinking I may just pick up a folding style of comfy chair that we can store and bring out for movie nights.

We removed the 4 dining chairs and replaced them with some comfortable black folding chairs from Sam's. They are waterproof and can be used outdoors or stowed when not needed. You can see one in the pictures.

I installed 5 coat hooks in the bathroom above the stock single towel rack. That way all of us had a hook for our towels. The towels do not fall off in transit.

I read a piece about 'stealth van camping' some time ago and on a trip to Toronto last week I saw one downtown.

Very clever mods. Have you tried it ?

I have signs I stick on my van that say " Billy's Heating and Plumbing". I park anywhere, Residential or Commerical. Never been bothered.
