Have an 08 jayco 1207. The vinyl floor is splitting in two spots, one under table other is inside door entrance. The split starts under the storage areas where the factory cuts were made, and continue out into floor areas. I checked with a local big box store about seam sealer and they said you need to know the brand for proper glue or it will turn yellow. Can not find any brand markings. Any ideas how to fix or stop the splitting from going any further.
that is crazy for an 2008. I have seen much older trailers with no issues like that.
I agree with Texas, Just replace it. I have even seen people put down laminate and it looks great. New sheet of vinyl would be less than 50 bucks.
if you want to fix it, take a utility knife and make a small circle at the end of the crack, or use a drill very carefully. Just drill into the vinyl with a small bit just at the very end of the crack and it will stop the crack from continuing.
Our '07 split from stem to stern last January from extreme cold weather. We replaced the entire floor. We ended up with a vinyl that looks like a planked wood floor. The color nearly matches the cabinets. Cost per square foot on the new vinyl was only 99 cents!
I wish we had saved some of the old vinyl, I may have been able to help you with the brand, looks the same as our old stuff.

Thanks for all the replys! We did have a long cold winter last year here in minnesota. Which most likely did it. I will try the temp fix now and see how things look in the spring. Probably time for a new floor.
