Well I figured it out. Apparently the driver's side side will work with the inverter on or off. The passenger side slide only works with the inverter off. Is this the way it should be?

Thanks. Yep. That's our shelter in our yard. We built it ourselves with some help from a great neighbor. I'll post some pics later this week. Maybe I could make a business out of it? 😜

The inverter should have nothing to do with the slides since they are 12v and the inverter converts 12v to 110v.

I'm guessing something must be wired incorrectly then? Because it definitely wouldn't do anything until I turned the inverter off.

Are you plugged into shore power? If not the inverter may be putting too big of a draw on the batteries and the slide won't function do to low voltage from the batteries.

We have a 2015 but the center of the switch button isn't where the switch is. Ours is near the right edge if facing the unit. If we push center we get nothing, right edge no problem.

Try the edges. Ours only works on right edge if facing unit. Center nothing

I have the squealing sound too!

It definitely is coming from the engine compartment between 1500 and 2000 RPM's. It's more prominent when the engine isn't working and goes away if I give it full throttle.

Bunk slide acting up again!!

We'll I put out the slides to wash it today and the bunk slide is acting up again. This time it won't go back in. Out works...shuts off right away because it's already out. But In does nothing. I was able to get it to come partially in but it was going crooked...the back was going in and the front was either moving slower than the back or not at all. So I put it back out. Now In does nothing again.

Suggestions?

Sounds like the one motor is bad or not getting power.

RV Shelter Picture

Canuckowner... Here's a picture of the shelter my neighbor and I built. We recently had to make it 18" taller due to going from an 11'6" Jamboree to a 13'1" Seneca.

I had the isolator kit installed yesterday and the noise is still there (slightly reduced). Any other additional fixes out there that were successful in eliminating the noise completely? Thanks!
