Slide out Pantry

We have a slide-out pantry in our Seneca 37TS that continues to stick/lock-up. The dealership has taken it apart twice reconstructed it per design and put it back together only to stick again.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Dealer says its a bad design, used to have these on rollers present design uses 2 drawer slides on top and the other on the bottom. They are close to getting rid of the slide changing it to a cabinet door with adjustable shelves.

It understandable in a way that stick/lock-up issues could come up with all the shacking and flexing that occurs in an RV while travelling down the roads...

I have the Seneca TS as well and it is jammed closed. Not sure if it is slide/guide system for if something has fallen off shelves and preventing panty from pulling out. Did your dealer tell you how they took it apart?

I have pretty much determined my problem with the pantry is the vertical wood portion of the shelf right below the door pull has moved out and jammed behind the face of the cabinet such that the pantry doorcannot be pulled out. Any thoughts on a solution?

Maybe it would be difficult to accomplish but any pictures that can be provided might be helpful. I think folks might want to help but can't envision what you're dealing with unless they have that model RV.

I brought our Seneca with the jammed pantry door to the dealer. They sawed off the door handle and drilled out the screws then removed the door panel. Apparently not glued on. The problem was one of the movable shelves had shifted behind the door opening effectively locking the door closed. They securely fastened the movable shelves so they will no longer move. They also found a matching door handle. All good. I have great dealer in Minneapolis area.

Hilltop? Went to their Rochester store to look at a SENECA when we were in Albert Lea. Great group of people and no high pressure. They also brought display units to the Rally (Starcraft) while were camped at the Fair Grounds.
