atwood autolevel
Brought fifth wheel out of storage, once home the auto leveler control panel will not turn on. Has anyone else had this issue? Currently can not unhitch.

Have not had that problem yet. There is the on off toggle switch on the panel and the on switch. Maybe a fuse on the power supply?

Did you get your problem resolved? We have the Atwood levelers on our Pinnacle and it has given us problems but not what you experienced. I would like to know what your outcome was in case it happens on ours. Ours goes back to the dealer next week for reprogramming the controller.

If you're ordering a Pinnacle, it's rumored to now come with the LCI leveling system. My Eagle Premier was built the 1st week of March, has the Attwood but the document packet included the LCI DVD and manual.

Ours has a "habit" of sometimes freezing up when I try to retract the legs to hitch up, requiring me to call customer service for a reset procedure. They recently sent me to the dealer to have a "REV 4" mother board installed but this hasn't totally eliminated the problem. I have initiated dialog with Jayco and they claim to have worked it out with Atwood for a reprogramming procedure and I am taking the trailer back in next week to have it updated. I really feel anxious about taking the trailer out camping for fear of not being able to reach Atwood if the system malfunctions. When it works, I really like having it on the trailer.
I have been told that Jayco has...or is in the transition to...changed over to LCI, but I am told that the LCI syatem is not without "gremlins", either.

Mine is in for repairs for the 4th time. It has been a pita since new. I know how to reprogram it in my sleep. This time it is going to get the upper board replaced so hopefully it may be fixed.
take care

Wow, all the problems I read on forums with the Automatic Levelers.
Jayco did not offer a leveling system in 2011 for the Pinnacle so I installed the Reico Titan "Ground Control" System (Lippert has now bought the Reico Titan system).
It is not a "Automatic" system, all 4 legs are operated a remote control.
I installed it about a year ago and even though it is "Old School" it has worked flawlessly.
It really gets a workout since we move every week or two, one of the best mods we have made.
I saw the Lippert "Ground Control" system on a 2015 Pinnacle, the landing gear is not the same system we have, ours is much heaver duty looking package.
Guess Lippert has done their usual cost cutting engineering on it.

My Atwood Levelegs were such a nightmare that I didn't even want to use my RV anymore. I ended up paying the dealer to convert it back to a standard leveling system and am once again a happy camper!

It may come to that for us, too. It's at the dealer right now for reprogramming under the direction of a tech at Jayco who claims to have "the answer". We'll see.

The last time that mine was at the dealer for the Levelegs, they replaced all of the electronics including the keypad. They called me and said that the problem was solved and they had raised and lowered the jacks numerous times and could not get it to malfunction. I drove the two hours to get there and when I went to hook up, the Levelegs froze up again. That was when I lost complete confidence in the system ever working consistently and had it removed.

No problems with ours after understanding the right sequence of operation.
There are other discussions on this...just use the Search tool.

After having many and various leg problems with our new Pinnacle's atwood levelers, they finally replaced one of the leg motors and it has worked perfectly ever since. I didn't seem logical to me that replacing one leg motor would fix all the various goofy things they were doing, including not going up sometimes, but it fixed the problem.

What did you have it replaced with and how costly was it?

Sorry for your problems with the levelegs. We got our 2014 premier in July of 2013. The tech at the dealer schooled us on using it. Said to follow the instructions
That were posted beside the controller. We have used ours at least 25-30 times without any problems. On two different sites that were unlevel side to side, it lifted the tires off the ground. I would not buy another 5th wheel without them. We love them and so easy to use. Just push a button
