No channels

Would my antenna be working if I only receive RF signals? I cannot get any TV channels after scanning. I do get around 80 RF channels.
Thanks!!

I'm going to take a wild guess here.

I'm guessing when you scan for channels in antenna mode (not cable mode), you are getting a report of 80 RF channels. All over the air channels are RF. So it sounds like your antenna is functioning correctly. The problem that you are not seeing a picture may be that you have your TV set to the wrong input source - the choices would be something like HDMI, composite, DVD player, and antenna. You'd want to make sure the input selected is antenna.

If this is not the answer, post back with your TV settings -- likely someone here will have the answer.

I've had something like this happen where it finds a number of RF channels when doing the autoscan (mode is set to "air" not "cable") but only 1-2 digital channels or something like that...

There seems to be some confusion on RF vs digital. As RVhiker points out ALL over the air TV signals are RF. The difference is analog and digital. Both are RF. Most are digital. There are very few analog TV stations left. They will be low power, local use as college campuses and the like.

There is just not enough information being given to work with.
