This is a type of measuring system that uses circuit capacitance rather than resistance as used in normal RV tank level monitoring (3 or 4 metal pins are put in the tank sides at different heights, eventually the pins oxidize and become useless). The capacitance type sensors are used in the expensive motor homes. They are lot more accurate than the cheap resistance ones used on most RV's.
The only problem that you can encounter is if your plastic tank walls are thicker that the maximum allowed by the sensor manufacture. Check with the manufacture to see if you will be OK.
