Lessons for new campers

Second trip out with new trailer and learned some valuable lessons.
Don't use the coffeemaker, microwave, and AC at the same time on 30 amp service or if you do make sure you have some extra 40 amp fuses.

Be aware that the gray water tank is filling every time someone takes a shower or washes dishes. Once the tank is full, it just starts coming back up.
Most people carry spare holding tanks to take care of that problem.
Try not even accidentally to reverse polarity of your battery connections, or another fuse blows.
One more thing, Kayaks look like so much fun out on the water, but they are really meant for younger backs than 56 years old.
Beyond all that, Purtis Creek State Park in Texas is beautiful place to camp. Most campers are so friendly and ready to help a new camper out. Last, three days just aint enough!

Haha, my buddy and I , both approx 70, had a brain fart...we rented a couple kayaks in Port A to do the Texas parks trail. We left rental place, less $116.00, at 4:30 pm for 24 hour rental. We could have been back before they closed at 5:30 pm...but we were to wore out from unloading and loading and that 1/4 mile total paddle.
